If you are wanting to limit your families chemical exposure than a DIY air freshener should be a priority.
I have our MYair Freshness spray's in the kitchen, bathroom, toilet and laundry
Mainstream air fresheners seem to be a staple in most people's homes but did you know they contain nasty ingredients such as:-
Ethylene-based glycol ethers - which may cause hazardous air pollutants .
Terpenes - derived from citrus oils that are not inherently dangerous, but react with ozone to form formaldehyde
1,4 dichlorobenzene - vapors may affect respiratory function & reduce lung capacity and may hasten respiratory diseases
Fragrance - (Synthetic fragrance or Parfum) can be linked to allergies, asthma, carcinogenic, neurotoxicity, 95% synthetic compounds, hyper-pigmentation, immune system assault, damage to Eco system
DIY Air freshener recipe - MYair Freshness recipe
You will need:-
30ml glass spritzer bottle
10ml organic Witch Hazel
20ml distilled water
2ml organic Vegetable glycerine
10 drops 100% pure essential oil - to deodorise I love 1 drops Peppermint, 2 drop Lemongrass, 7 drops Grapefruit
Add ingredients & essential oil to bottle
Top up with distilled water
Spritz as needed
