Defects to testes and reduce sperm count!! Nasty ingredients in your products may be messing with yo

Society standard of dressing has changed dramatically over time. I am only 34 however I remember putting on your Sunday best to head out when it was voting day, church (whatever the reason), birthday parties, even to go the department store. These days however a more casual approach seems accepted for any event.

While watching one of my favourite TV shows Geordie Shore (OMG don’t hold it against me). I noticed how long the “Lads” took preparing to go out, grooming, dressing, tanning, nearly as long as the ladies! It also occurred to me that they took more care on their food intake (not including the obscene amounts of alcohol), exercise etc. than the ladies.

My son is 7 he spends 10 minutes every morning doing his hair and stand clear if he is having a bad hair day!!! He refuses to leave the house in tracksuit pants, and also is very particular on his outfit.

All of this got me taking notice of the generation of kids and teens and I realised that boys and young men are really taking care of themselves, almost more so than the girls.

There was a time when men took a lot of pride in the way they looked. Hair was always groomed, dressed immaculately etc. then somewhere along the way this was lost and it seemed to become un-manly to take time and care into the way you presented yourself.

Men are not only looking after themselves in the dressing and grooming department.

Healthy eating, exercise, and even regular GP visits seem to be something that men are starting to do without the need for a nagging wife or mother.

Men’s treatments in Beauty clinics, facials, nail grooming, waxing etc. are also increasing without the need to hide it from their mates, instead actually talking about it and encouraging each other to try it out.

Is this a self-confidence issue or merely self-care? I guess that depends on the individual however it is lovely to look around and see boys, young men and men making an effort once more.

But with this wonderful change comes risk!! .......The chemical sides to all the wonderful men’s products flooding the market.

Some of these chemicals severely concern me as young boys and men are lathering themselves with chemicals that can cause so many problems in their adult lives. The ingredient DBP can actually effect development of testes and prostate as well as reduce sperm count, this product is found in body sprays and colognes the very thing every body gives their young pre-pubescent boy for xmas!!!

At school and work boys and men especially tradesmen are now encouraged to lather themselves in sunscreen to protect their skin but is it actually protecting them??

Below are just some of the dangers hidden in products they may be using:-
