MYbrush wash - DIY make up brush cleaner & spray recipe

Are your makeup brushes in need of some deep cleaning?
This DIY make up brush cleaner and wash will help you keep your brushes clean and free from bacteria.
Dirty makeup brushes harbor bacteria, fungi, and microbes. Grease, moisture and dirt are the perfect breeding grounds for germs. Air pollution, dust, and dead skin cells can build up on your brushes, which can breed acne-causing bacteria and can be cause constant skin conditions including break outs, eye infections (eye bumps), herpes (cold sores), staph infections and more!!
You can avoid this easily by cleaning your make up brushes regularly! I have created a easy, effective DIY make up brush cleaner recipe to help you do so as chemical free as possible.
MYbrush wash - DIY make up brush cleaner recipe

What YOU need:-
10ml organic castile soap
80ml organic Witch hazel** (see below for option #2) - strong antioxidant and astringent properties
2.5ml organic skin nourishing carrier oil (optional) eg. Jojoba oil, Avocado oil - I like fractionated coconut oil for the antioxidant & disinfecting properties.
20 drops 100% pure Tea Tree essential oil - Analgesic, antibacterial, anti fungal, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti parasitic, antiseptic, antiviral, insecticidal, stimulant, tissue regenerative, acne, allergies, bacteria infections, cleansing, colds/coughs/flus, cuts, dermatitis/eczema, fungal/viral infections, hives, wounds, rashes, shingles, warts.
**option #2** - for a more antibacterial solution you can do 20ml Witch hazel & 60ml Isopropanol Alcohol - To get a product has effective antibacterial properties it requires a necessary 60% minimum to 95% maximum Ethanol or Isopropanol!! At the recommended percentages they are effective antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal agents.
Directions:-
add essential oil to castile soap
add the rest of your ingredients
Use:-
Wash


Gently shake DIY make up brush cleaner
Add 1/3 DIY solution to 2/3 boiling water in a bowl
immerse brushes
using hands gently massage brushes until clean
rinse in warm water
air dry
After application
Gently shake DIY make up brush cleaner
lightly spray brush with solution, wipe on soft cloth and allow to dry.
