Why being naked will improve your health!

Those who know me know that I'm all about nude. I'm not and have never been shy when it comes to getting my kit off.

I've always enjoyed the freedom and the feeling of connection of the elements on my skin.

It amazes me how many people are shocked, embarrassed and stunned at my openness about nakedness.

Ladies always respond with "OMG, I could never do that."....... This is makes me extremely sad.

Sad that so many of you beautiful people lack the confidence to embrace your body in its natural state, love & appreciate your body, your life vessel.

Being naked has SO many healthy mental & physical benefits.

If not comfortable enjoying the beach your birthday suit, going hippy at a naturalist resort or participating in a naked bike ride just yet then aim for something more personal to begin with.....

Practising nude yoga and sleeping naked are great places to start and here is why...

Benefits to naked yoga....

  • PROMOTES HEALTHY BODY IMAGE!! - Naked yoga helps you feel comfortable in your own skin. It helps you embrace imperfections and appreciate your body.

  • HEALTH- aside from the wonderful benefits of yoga such as reducing stress & anxiety, increasing energy, strength, stamina and flexibility, brain function, naked yoga promotes positivity which can aid in resolving & healing physical & mental issues from holding toxic emotions.

  • SEXY - With the benefits of the above points we automatically increase in self confidence & self love which we all know is SUPER sexy. When it comes to intimacy in the bedroom so many ladies are so wrapped up in what they look like during intimate moments that they find it hard to be present or lose the motivation to be sexual. Through naked yoga our self love and confidence increases which most definitely shows in the bedroom increasing libido, and the ability to open yourself to be present and enjoy the moment. 💋

Benefits to sleeping naked.....

  • Better Sleep - When you are wear clothing during sleep they can become twisted, tangled, and uncomfortable leading to unrestful sleep. When you are naked you are free and therefor can get a deeper more restful sleep.

  • Improves your Skin & your downstairs area! - Sleeping naked improves your skin quality because your skin can breathe freely. It is so important to let your body breathe. armpits, feet, and genitals all benefit from being aired, this reduces skin diseases & yeast infections. A mans Testes, need a cool environment to keep the sperm healthy and reproductive system functioning properly.

  • Regulates Corisol Levels - I have discussed benefits of sleeping naked in my sleep blog (read more here) Sleeping naked helps regulate body temperature so your body can normalise cortisol levels. Wearing clothing can sometimes make you too hot when you sleep, in turn your cortisol levels may remain high even after waking up.​

  • Balances Melatonin - Increase in body temperature can also intefere and reduce our Melatonin. Melatonin is naturally produced by your pineal gland.

  • Body contact - Sleeping naked is a great for relationships. When we engage in skin on skin contact, it releases oxytocin. Coined as the ‘love hormone” oxytocin has been proven to reduce stress, crystallize emotional memories, boost sexual arousal, reduce drug cravings, improve social skills, and induce sleep.

So don't be shy, embrace your freedom and get nude. Increase your health and self-confidence, trust me........ you won't go back!
